Worldcup-Nashörner in Dortmund

Dies sind ca. 2m lange und 1,5m hohe Nashörner, die seit 2006 in der Dortmunder Innenstadt zu finden sind. Sie sind das Logo und Wappentier des Konzerthauses Dortmund und dienen hauptsächlich als Werbe- und Kunstträger. Diese hübschen Exemplare sind Andenken an die Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft 2006 und den Mannschaften von Trinidad & Tobago, Ghana und der Schweiz gewidmet.

These are three of hundred lifesize model Rhinos (2m long and 1,5m tall) at the centre of Dortmund, which are put up in 2006 and are artistically designed by different sponsors. The winged Rhino is the heraldic animal of the Dortmund Concert Hall. These three examples are memories of the Fifa Woldcup 2006 and are dedicated to the teams of Trinidad & Tobago, Ghana and Switzerland.
