Unfortunately I couldn't get very close or move around the woodpile substantially, but we'll give it a go.
(Later that night) Hey, it worked! 100% synthy! :)
My apologies that so many of these are out of focus on the cats. Sadly I was just trying to get as many shots as possible before they decided to retreat and that didn't leave much room for quality checking. I also very much need a real zoom lens.
