Well that didn't work very well did it. Was hoping for at least an 80% synthy rating...
Combination of rubbish lighting (and the resulting long exposure/high ISO combination) and low resolution / overcompression I think. If I try something like this again I'll have to just be patient - and have a spare few pairs of batteries - and do it all single-shot using flash, rather than trying to get the ambient light up as high as possible & tweak the camera settings then do it quickly on continuous-shot. Or get hold of a pro photography lamp.
Also, woo, I discovered how to activate descriptions and comments, go me. (Hehe, no I didn't, the Get Satisfaction guys had to tell me. Feeling dumb right now).
