Description

OBSOLETE: See instead my new and better version with Mount Sharp and more skies at http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=b8790e2c-82b6-4344-98c8-9026b42a1cbc

The first 360° pano shot on Mars by rover Curiosity on the 3rd Martian day (sol 3) of its mission (i.e. 9 August 2012). I have fiddled the colors to make Mars look like a sunny beach...

Photos (c) NASA downoaded from http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?s=3

With many thanks to Andew0002 for his explanations at http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=4c765e0c-3fdd-41a8-a1b3-09b5ac2a5c82

Processed with ICE, reworked and uploaded with Photoshop.
