FACE SYNTH! (self-portrait; w/ friends)(take 1)

Well, not as synthy as I had hoped, but did make 11 clumps of 2 pix each. In previous synth, 3 pix got clumped, so i need to do some more testing to see what's up. Also, some other foto groups didn't clump, but I think they should (could) have. Maybe there are TOO MANY pix and it's "confusing" Photosynth(?)

Regardless, I think it's an interesting "study" in friends:) Aso, countries represented include: U.S., Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland, Israel, India, and Jamaica.

And as usual, I've put in a couple surprises!:)

P.S. Makes me think: might be cool to have a special Photosynth option to do matching based on facial recognition. What do ya think?

BTW, the synthiness I'm looking for has nothing to do w/ point clouds. True, they can be interesting, but I think there is so much more potential to Photosynth. With some enhancements and creative application, I think it could provide a great, new experience of people and places.

The 2 photos clumps are pretty interesting. It did find some good matches... I wonder if you pretty much made the same smile and wore the same shirt in every photo... it might link them all together. Mayb glasses helped? Perhaps a textured hat would also help? Same smile, same expression. The best was the 3-way clump from the "Cafe" synth. That was totally unexpected!

P.S. Again, I kno face recognition algorithms have been extensively developed as of late, so perhaps a special option to key of faces would b cool:)

Dicho sea de paso, cuando intento enviarte por WindowsLive hay un mensaje de error que se dice: "You can't send or reply to this person because of their communication preference setting" que significa en español (mas o menos);"No puedes enviar o responder a esta persona a causa de sus opciones de configuración.":)
