A panorama of the atrium in the Informatics (Computer Science) and Mathematics building at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

The two large "parabolic" slides are meant to encourage students (and prospective students) to develop a love of mathematics while having fun.

Yes, I just added a comment to that effect when I geo-tagged the image. The students (and faculty :-) keep around carpets to ride down the slide, since the inside is coated with rubber to decrease the risk of an accidental slide.
