Description

There have been many great synths of the amazing Koeln (Cologne) Cathederal, so I tried to do something new....

This is a long approach that ends on the keyhole of the main door on the West side, during a nice sunset on the Monday of Photokina.

A very interesting a novel approach! and the point cloud of the door is great!

Fred -- thanks for your comments and your contributions to our embryonic community. I keep meaning to make the time to try to "synthesize" something through that keyhole by photoshopping a view of another scene into the center of the keyhole. It might work!

it would be a great idea - perhaps the interior of the cathedral...but this would be challenging to get the photos you need inside...or something completely different and abstract...no doubt I am enjoying Photosynth - it certainly brings several new dimensions to digital photography. Now we can enjoy viewing our dozens of photographs, and certainly on my travels everything is seen in a different light now - "can a good synth be made?" is the first question asked!!
