This is an aerial view of the stormbarrier protecting Rotterdam (The Netherlands) from flooding in times of excessive storms.
This is the final closure made in the process of protecting the Netherlands after the floods in 1953.

Yes it is the storm barrier that is protecting Rotterdam, The Netherlands against flooding.
