Description
A mass of steel and people, the Brooklyn Bridge is a popular vantage point for Manhattan skyline views. As bicycle commuters zip past tourists in their way, vehicles shake the bridge from underneath.
My fiance and I posed for this self potrait in context after shooting a higher resolution framed panorama of the skyline. Other people walking past are only captured for a moment by the camera, and, if they are close, only random body parts will show up in the pano. I like the effect of having a model, in the know, remain still and whole as the world moves past, fragmented.
