Acton (MA) Obelisk

This obelisk in Acton (MA) Town Center is the Isaac Davis Monument, dedicated to those from Acton who fought in the Revolutionary War. Isaac Davis was the leader of the Acton Minutemen and the first to die in the Battle of Concord at the Old North Bridge. Each Patriot's Day (April 19th) Boy Scout Troups camp out in a large field in Acton and renact the Minuteman march from Davis' home on Hayward Street to the Old North Bridge.
