Description
Considering that this archeological site is not shown on National Monument maps, I will not accurately geotag its location here. I will say that a long difficult hike off trails is required to get here and it is not recommmended for those unaccustomed to traveling in southwest canyons that are prone to flash flooding. This canyon had obviously flooded recently when I hiked down it to this location, and the very evening after I shot this panorama, this canyon flooded massively in an unseasonable storm that even brought tornados to the area in early October. This site and many others like it across the west are sensitive to human disturbance, if you find a dwelling or ancient pueblo in these twisting canyons, please take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints.
