That's awesome! Are you in control of the camera too... or is it just taking random shots while you fly?

Brilliant. Now all of a sudden, I want a radio controlled helicopter.

Fry3199, GREAT JOB! Love the way u think:) Interestin helicopter. Ur design/construction? Cam rig, too? Tnx for includin pix of the camera rig. Would love to hear details on how electronic shutter triggering is done I kno sum cam models allow computer control (for time-lapse, etc.), so perhaps there's a interface adapter. FYI, my academic backgroud is data acq n control / robotics. Didn't c vid monitor, so guessin u servo the cam angle blind. LOVE, LOVE the shot of u where copter can b seen in window reflection. Awesome:) Cyclin thru shots was interestin for me, but imagine it was even more so for u, since u live in that area.
I c this is ur only posted synth, n from over a month ago. Any planned future shoots?
Well, tnx again for makin the effort n sharin:)

Hi - just found this after I d/l Photosynth & am exploring -
really impressed with the quad-lift helicopter - as we know choppers of all types are basically unstable & want to crash, so your design & manipulation of controls must be ace!
What does it all weigh (how much of that is battery?) & what is its endurance? - pic of yourself & reflected chopper in window is v.good.
Congratulations - Merger
