Description

The Co-Cathedral of St. John served as the Conventual Church of the Knights of St. John. The church ceiling is adorned by paintings of Mattia Preti illustrating the birth, life and death of St. John the Baptist. The titular scupture shows the Baptism of Christ by St. John the Baptist and it is the work of the Roman scultor, Giuseppe Mazzuoli.

A synth of the facade of the church can be seen on http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=95af7628-238a-4404-aa34-8d4b2e5d4b37
