Poncho - Photosynth

Description

This is my shelter when I go backpacking. I took these photos pretty quickly, I'd like to do it sometime in a field or a more natural setting. My goal here was to see if I could get all the way around the shelter and include some details of how I put it up.

Is that a special kind of poncho made just for this... or are you just that clever?

the poncho is made to pitch as a shelter, it has loops for guylines on the corners and in critical spots. it did take some practice to figure out how to put it up but i found some great instructions on the net (the ray way method).
