Nijo-jo Castle

The Nijo-jo castle is located in the center of Kyoto, Japan. The castle grounds are expansive and could not be captured in a single synth. This is a small garden near the middle of the grounds. See the geotag to get a better sense of the scale.

The "hay sculpture" is actually straw being used to protect a plant from the winter cold. You might find some snow in a couple of the photos. It snowed the morning I took these photos.
