Description
(Big synth: may take a few minutes to load.)
John Fisher oversaw the cutting of this 16 ton of Carrara marble in Italy. The marble arrived at Elings Park in June 2004 and John carved this in 90 days.
The sculpture depicts youth ascending a mountain with the help of others. The marble represents addiction and the individuals are in stages of freeing themselves.
"Summit for Danny" was created in memory of Danny Bryant who died in 1995 of a drug overdose.
