Description

A rainbow nestles between the hills, hugging the side of a mountain above the desert town of Borrego Springs, California. It lasted for hours as we hiked the trails, so distracting it was hard to walk without stumbling over the rocky ground. Wow!

Have you tried this in ICE?

I'd be curious to see the results if you ever do.

Hi Nathanael,
Well, sort of. Altho I stitched the images with AutopanoPro rather than ICE, I did use the seadragon.com site to get this silverlight deep zoom. Note the #full at the end!!!

Aye, I'm familiar with Seadragon.com's fullscreen switch. =]

AutoPano seems to have produced a wonderfully clean stitch, but I'm a little sad that such a great capture can't be experienced with perspective correct rendering - with the image wrapping around the viewer.

With the new Photoshop plugin to publish panoramas directly to photosynth.net, it sounds as though you can perfect the stitch with AutopanoPro, open it in Photoshop, and beam it up to the site here. I'd still be interested in seeing a wraparound version of the panorama from these shots.

that is great. I think the seadragon version and this mosaic are different media and combine very well. the mosaic feels like a dream.
