Description

The Great Pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient world still standing. Built circa 2500 B.C. as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, the relic contains some 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tons. Until the 19th century, it was the tallest building in the world.
