Description
Construction of the ring dam for the New Assiut Barrage on the River Nile at Assiut is in progress. Inside the semi-finished ring dam two marine dredgers excavate the future construction pit. Dreged material is pumped into sedimentation ponds on the right bank and on Bani Murr Island. Panorama taken on 15 November 2012.
