Historical note.  When David gave it to us synthed with the old tech preview bits, it was completely un-navigable.  None of the directional controls worked as expected; you couldn't easily move from room to room; you couldn't tell where objects had been photographed, or look at those objects from alternate points of view.  It was with this synth that we first developed and tested the object halo and panorama algorithms and UI, as well as the globally optimized arrows.

That vase is in every single piece of test data the Photosynth team uses - I see it in my sleep!

Not a day goes by when I don't worry that we've overfitted our parameters to that bloody vase.
