I would love to see the Photosynth viewer support stereoscopic viewing for 3D TVs (on Windows, Mac, Linux, Steam Machines, XBOX 360/ONE, Playstation 3/4, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS) or Occulus Rift.
I've mentioned previously that I'd love to see image types like stereo photos, light fields, Kinect scans, etc. be accepted as input into Photosynth but the other half of this (beyond those imagery types carrying their own depth information) is that I would love to actually see two novel views of the scene - one for each eye.
You're all about giving a 3D experience, so I say, "Why not go all out?". If your mission is to be a world class|best in class trend setting leader on presenting 3D photography, then don't let Apple or Google or anyone else beat you to the punch. Get out there and enable your viewer to support stereoscopic displays wherever you're able.
I would love to see a trailer for Photosynth and the new WebGL Bing Maps in movie theaters before 3D movies.
