Shooting with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 I use iHDR, i.e. intelligent High Dynamic Range setting. The camera will assess lighting and if usefull use HDR. It will then shoot in one go 3 pictures with different light levels and blend them into one HDR picture. Very nice. However, the battery drains faster.
I would like to suggest something like this in the new Photosynth app. But then as intelligent auto bracketing and the processing for blending in the cloud. The user can choose between 3 or 5 pics and the lighting range, as in the Nokia Camera app. Different from the Nokia Camera, the Photosynth app will use this feature automatically, if selected and useful.
