Here's the demo Blaise gave at TED Global back in June:
If you want to read the accompanying write up on TED it's here:
Kate Torgovnick May who wrote the full write up today also did a little preview description of the demo back in June:

I'm just happy to see activity and progress again and be using the 2014 Technical Preview in 2013, so, a big thank you right back at you guys.

Incidentally, the coverage links are not ranked by quality.
This was just the chronological order reported by Bing News.

If you are interested, you should also pull in some of the historical origins of photosynth.

I've been following this technology since 2008 and have really enjoyed being part of this community and technology - thank you PhotoSynth team

Yeah... If I want videos of the history of Photosynth and related tech, I've got a few of them. ツ!1081 I've been following them since June of 2007 but their first Photosynth announcements + videos from Live Labs were actually published publicly nearly a year before that on 2006 July 27th.

Since this forum is about the preview, if I were going to list any historical videos, it would be ones specifically about things seen in the preview like spin movies or piecewise planar per-image depth maps to project the photos onto.
You can find those at

Here's one of the talks Blaise gave in 2013 that I'd been waiting to see from the Hockney Symposium in November:
He provides a tour through the various steps in Photosynth's life and some thoughts from the teams about how they compare.
