Topic: Minibug: Timestamp is interpreted differently by profile and viewer Info panel

Perhaps it is because I load the website from the West coast of the U.S.A. but timestamps on Photosynth's site have always been Pacific Standard Time.

Tonight, while uploading a couple of synths from a few weeks ago, though, I noticed that while my profile said that the synths were uploaded on 2014 June 23 (and it is still June 23rd on the West coast as I type this), when I entered the synths and looked at the uploaded date in the synths' Info panes, it was reported as June 24th.

It seems unlikely to me that two different values are being stored in your database, so I'm assuming that this is just a quirk of the Info panel in the viewer interpreting things according to an earlier time zone (whether that is East coast US time or an international time zone like GMT.

In any case, I hope these time reports' presentations can be unified (and if possible, customized to the time zone of the user loading the page).
