I know that in the Frequently Asked Questions http://photosynth.net/preview/help#FAQ17 you acknowledge that you do not support upload of videos as video.

Will this ever change?

Will there ever come a day when I can link to a video I have stored on my SkyDrive, Flickr, Vimeo, YouTube, etc. and have Photosynth figure it out spatially?

If I find multiple videos of the same event or place, will you ever support spatially linking multiple videos?

If not, why not?

This is something I've been wanting for a long time.

This would increase the potential of Photosynth tremendously.

Imagine with the increase in computing power the potential that Photosynth would have being able to "synth" (er whatever) frames from video.

Almost all video was shot on the surface of the planet. This could lead to a historical archive of the planet similar to Google Earth. In fact, the trove of pictures captured by streetview cars would be a good place to start. Skylines would merge with this. And the level of detail would continually increase.

First and foremost this would save massive amounts of time for people wanting to create synths.

A few years ago, I wanted to make one of the Dallas Skyline. I took photos for hours.

I should've taken a video and uploaded the frames. This is difficult for people to do though. Support for video would be tremendous.

I got onto this site today for the first time in months specifically to request this.
