I cannot delete a synth which failed at the upload phase. Seems to be stuck at "waiting to be processed" stage forever.
I had one of these - after a day or two PS offered me the option to delete. Suggest you wait a while for the option to appear.
HGREGG is right, I've had a number of failed uploads and eventually after a day or two you'll have the option to delete it.
I'm having this exact same issue, however my photos uploaded corectly twice. I think it's because I've taked the shots in portrait orientation instead of landscape. :(
@Luis-Camacho. Photosynth will accept photos in portrait mode. You will find plenty of examples.
There might have been a problem with the servers over the weekend, I also have three synths that I uploaded yesterday that reported as successful uploads but after many hours are still showing as "Waiting to be processed".
@Joscelin.Trouwborst: Great, it's more flexible than I expected. :)
@ThreeDSheep: Is that so? If it's not just me having the problem then maybe it's really something with the servers and the synths will come around eventually.
There's definitely something wrong with the processing part of the servers this weekend.
All of my uploads this morning are 'Waiting to be processed' and the 'Explore > Recent synths' feed is at a standstill. http://photosynth.net/preview/?explore=recent_synths
The most recently processed synth as I'm looking at the feed is 'Ground flare' by bubaonline http://photosynth.net/preview/view/6403c770-3555-4265-a865-2c8fa1ceaf98 which reports being uploaded on July 13, 2014 (if I recall correctly Photosynth 2 in-synth timestamps are no later than UTF-5 http://bit.ly/ps2tptimes ).
It garnered a comment from David Gedye on the Photosynth team, so I'll wager that the team is aware of the processing glitch.
Glad to know it's not specific to me. Hopefully this will get sorted out soon.
The Photosynth team reports that they've been working on it this morning. http://twitter.com/photosynth/status/488731688692748288
Update from four hours ago: http://twitter.com/photosynth/status/488783182536269824
"Problem fixed and all previously pending synths have been processed."
Luis, I see both copies of your 42 photo panning synth.
