Since the synthing process now occurs on Photosynth's servers instead of our own computers, are there plans to select an online source of photos, rather than choosing only from what we have on our hard drives?

and even our Photosynth 1 photosynths would all be likely online sources for photos.

From what I understood David to be saying in his interview with Channel 9, it sounds like you guys have plans to one day convert all existing synths into the new format (hence why we have the 'Preview' tag on the 'Photosynth 2' stuff).

If that is correct, then you probably don't want to spend time developing a little interface that would allow users to select subsets of our Photosynth 1 synth photos, but if the wait was going to be long, since Photosynth is already aware of objects (spins) and panoramas in existing synths, a tool to select those + synth them in the new preview would be pretty cool.

Going through the topics, I had exactly this in my mind.
Phablets upload from their camera roll to the equivalent in Skydrive. To be able to select and submitting a photoset for Synthing this is what we definitely need. Along this, it would be nice if Microsoft were to increase the number of free GB for Skydrive or lower its prices significantly.
