I find myself setting the photo rights again and again, while it is almost always the same. I think it would be nice, if we could have a preset for it in our personal Photosynth profile.
Yes, great suggestion! Totally agreed.
It is useful that currently if you upload multiple synths in a row in the same tab that the photo license remains set the same and it is also pleasant that we can finally edit the photo license after upload, but it would certainly be preferable to set our default preference for all new uploads which will mean fewer editing sessions later.
A default in your profile sounds like a good idea, but something even simpler that might deliver 90% of the value would be if we simply remembered the last values you chose for license type and public/unlisted, then defaulted to those the next time. What do you think?
Sure, if you can remember the last used license and use it next time, go for it.
Would this only work within a single browser or single machine/OS installation or would it be saved server side?
In other words, would your suggested solution result in my needing to choose the desired license once, every time I begin using Photosynth on a new device (phone, tablet, another PC, a different browser, etc.) or will my first time using the upcoming Photosynth app for Windows 8.1 or Windows Phone 8.1 remember my last used setting from the web?
I was thinking of doing it really simply -- client side per machine.
It's better than nothing. ツ
Will do. Please include the notification setting too. (Cookie.)
