Is there a way that Photosynth can be used to identify identical images or identical sections of images among a population of images? The application involves panels of images, each image section of which should be unique and not appear in any other panels of images. I have tried cropping the individual sections assuming that Photosynth would stitch identical images on top of each other (it does not). Even better would be if Photosynth stitched the idential sections together and morphed the rest of the images apart where they are not identical.
