I would like the synth result not only be stored online, but also offline. That way I could check and view synth results on the go. One cannot always be online with sufficient bandwidth on this planet yet. Hence, I would like to have Live Photosynth Gallery that will synchronize when I am back online.

The problem is that for larger synths, if you are going to synchronize absolutely all image data so that you are able to zoom into every last detail like you can online, some larger synths are 7GB of data or more, which would take ages to download to a mobile device which is likely short on space to begin with.

To avoid any misunderstanding, I am talking only about ones own synths. Notebooks and netbooks are mobile devices too. My main device is now an ASUS Eee PC 12" netbook. It has a 250 GB disc. Before we can even blink our eyes, 1 TB will be the standard. I feel we need close co-operation between Bing Maps Photosynth and Live teams to really give things a boost. I feel Live Sync will be one of the usefull infrastructure components.

To add... so far I like Microsofts hybrid strategy to have an online Cloud with a plethora of satellite online/offline synched devices. Google has an onl;ine only strategy, as far as I know. I feel Photosynth should exploit this hybrid strategy too.
