I do love Seadragon's ability to zoom to any detail level of an image and smooth out any differences in the resolution of the current tiles onscreen and the size that they are being displayed at, but there have been many times when I wanted to be able to simply snap to 100% of the photo's original size. That is to say, I want an option to zoom to the exact zoom level that displays 1 of the pixels of the tiles that comprise the full resolution of my original image on 1 of my monitor's physical pixels, even if that puts the edges off the edges of my monitor, allowing me to pan about and zoom from that point as I choose.
What do you think? I know Seadragon is doing its best to make the tiles look as good as they possibly can regardless of which zoom level is currently loaded or how magnified it is and that this is a somewhat obscure request. I also know that it's obviously possible to get to this point by simply zooming, but a one touch shortcut key would be great!
Interesting idea Nathanael, I'll make sure the guys who work on the viewer see this.
