Topic: Adding to a synth

I'd like to add more photos to a synth I've already created. Is there any way to do that *other* than just recreating the whole thing? Currently it's not a huge problem (the synth in question only has 15 photos, as is), but I'm considering starting a rather large synth and I want to be able to update it over time and not have to worry about keeping a hard-copy of every picture I include.

Sorry, no. At the moment you still need to have the photos available locally to compare with each other (each time a new photo is added to a collection it may refine/change the positions of any of the other photos) and adding even one more photo means comparing it to every other photo in that collection. This all happens on your computer, not on the servers.

The saving grace is that Photosynth won't reupload any photos that have been uploaded to the website before (unless you've edited them since the last time you uploaded them).

why not have a software on your computer and just upload the final result then if later you add more pictures you do it on your computer and reupload the new version on top of the existing one? Also would be possible to have more management tools on the website like deleting photosynth that did not end up as expected?

Never mind my last question, I just found out there is a way to delete it. Sorry :)

Eah, whenever you're signed into the website you can visit this page: ( ) to view or delete any of your synths. (You can get to it any time by clicking your username and choosing the 'Synths' tab.)

To delete one of your synths, just click the 'X' in the upper right hand corner of any synth card. Remember, you'll need to be signed in to delete them.
