I would like to know whether there is any way in which a synth can be viewed in an "offline" environment for demonstration purposes? I think it would be a great idea if you happen to be in a place where there is no network connectivity
The only thing I've tried is to capture the screen when 'playing
back' the synth, but you lose the interactivity.
Try ICE - I think I found reference to it on these forums, but you do need a fairly powerful PC
Check out GeoSynth at http://www.vexcel.com/geospatial/geosynth/index.asp .
If you have $50,000 per year to spare. ;)
ICE is Microsoft Research's excellent panorama stitcher but has nothing to do with offline Photosynths.
Your best bet is using a video capture program like Expression Encoder 3's Screen Capture.
