One new feature which has been more of a annoyance then a helper ,
when viewing in 2D I can only zoom out to where near my pictures almost touch the border of the viewing frame this has bothered me a bit because win first trying out photosynth i was amazed at its zooming technology and found it so neat that you could see thousands of picture all in the size of your thumb and then zoom in and see one of those thousand of pictures become the size of your screen then zoom inside that picture to make the thumb of a person in the photo the size of your entire screen and zoom back out and find another photograph , this was remarkable to me and a break through in technology just the fluidity the 2d sector alone was enough to make me excited and stay for the 3d it was the best of both worlds but now the 2d interface seems somewhat boxed , and i think i know why before you could zoom so far out that you could actually lose any site of pictures.
Now I don't really wish to completely remove the lock just alter it
I think the zoom out lock should lock the zoom out to when the entire group of photographs is about the size of your finger nail, or maybe smaller , then add a feature to the view , or at least the zoom out amount as in the direct3d viewer but add a new feature whare you can still pan the images out of the screen but the veiw wont compeltly let you hide the images a sliver of the very end of the picture would stick out of the side same as when you zoomed in and pan them out but these non zoom feature don't need to be introduced as badley as the zoom lock. maybe the zoom way out feature was taken away for siliverlights inabilitie to imedaitly pick up that freature , and you guys might be working on this and if your not please take this into consideration
