This is basically for commercial applications. a stand-alone version is probably far off or never going to happen, but being able to add password protection to unlisted synths would be great. Our clients don't allow us to share photos of their sites outside of our company, this includes hosting them on other networks.
and actually, I know that simply setting it to unlisted basically makes it so anyone can't find it. But the client may not let us use this software unless password protection was available. I don't see a benefit myself, if you emailed a link with a password included it could get forwarded outside the company just as easily (so could a picture). But it would help my case with our clients. :)
