Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
Hello, I'm using Photosynt on my Windows Phone (Samsung Omnia W, with gyroscope). It seems that after about 270 degree of rotation photosynth assume that a complete 360 degree was done trying to overlap the begin with the end of the panorama, resulting in a very ugly to see and completely inaccurate result!
I've tried many times, pivoting around the lens (with the maximum precision that a device in hand allows...) but the result is ever the same. I've tried to rotate only horizontally or rotate horizontally in zigzag up and down or other strategies, no improvements.
I've tried in locations where the panorama is much detailed so that we can exclude that it overlapped two similar view like sea end and start. From my programmer perspective it's like the app read the gyroscope in a wrong way. It's a real pity because the app is wonderful but 360 degree panorama is a must... What can we do? Please consider this bug and fix it! It's a real pity!
I have an iPod 4th gen and I have the exact same problem. Please fix the iOS version too!
Please can someone answer to this issue? Photosynth is a great piece of software but if I cannot take 360 degree it's, well, useless! At least a representative that says "well, we know of this bug, we are fixing"... Why don't you give answer to users?
I had contact with another Samsung Omnia W owner and he too has the same problem. Please, I've signaled to you in every way this bug, please consider investigating it! It's a wonderful app but in this way it's useless... :(
Why are you ignoring this bug in WP7? I understand you are focused on WP8 now but there are many users of WP7 that want to use it too...
energywave, I agree that you should have already had a response here on the forum, but if you haven't already, then please also email email@example.com and perhaps you'll have more success in being replied to.
Thank you, Nathanael, for your advice. I wrote a mail, we will see what happens...
