Why isn't it possible to edit highlights atm? Or am I to stupid to figure out how it works?

Hi, Andre,

What are you trying to do that isn't working?

To edit any existing highlights you would have to be in the Highlights tab in the synth editor, as I'm sure you know. When there:
+ Clicking on any existing highlight should display the current title and caption, allowing you to edit either.
+ To reorder the highlights, click on the one you wish to move and use the 'Move Up' or 'Move Down' links at the bottom of the editor.
+ To add new highlights, browse to the photo you want and click the 'Add Highlight' button.
+ Inversely, when you've got an existing highlight... eh... highlighted, you can click 'Remove Highlight' to get rid of it.
+ As always, remember to click 'Save' when you're done. Some people even prefer to save every time they change something.

If something listed here isn't working for you, perhaps you're having problems with Silverlight. What web browser are you using?

I think, there were some temporarily problems. I've tried it again just a few minutes ago and it worked.

Once highlights are added. How can anybody else see them?

Any highlights that have been added to a photosynth or a panorama are instantly publicly viewable to anyone viewing the synth or pano with the default Silverlight viewer on a laptop or desktop.

The highlights on panoramas should be viewable in the Photosynth mobile app as well. I know they are on Windows Phone.

If anyone is using the HTML5 panorama viewer, unfortunately it doesn't have highlight viewing capabilities yet, but Microsoft has recently been investing development again in Photosynth 2 and its WebGL viewer so hopefully they'll have highlights and share pinks up and running in the HTML5 viewers soon too.

Ehh... That would be *share links*. =)

I'm having trouble saving a highlight. I go into edit and add the highlight, select the portion of the image i want and add my title and caption. When I hit save the highlight disappears and is unavailable in the viewer.

Removing highlights is not working for me.
I made a single one, named it ghgh and added some random letters in description, saved, exited, then came back to erase it, there is no way to do it.
Neither the system accepts more highlights or allows me to edit name or description of this one.
