I posted 3, 3-photo synths 2 days ago. all 3 were 100% synthy. In viewing "most recent" they do not appear; they do not show in the "most synthy" or "favorites", either. I can log into my account and see them all. why do they not show in either one of the main line-up groups?

Hello, John,

The primary place that your synths and panoramas are listed is your own profile page. When you are signed into your own account and click the 'My Photosynths' link at the top of the website, you see your own profile page here on the site.

Likewise, since you are part of this conversation, I can click on your username and see your profile page and synths.

If you're looking for a good link to give people to view *your* synths, this is it:

Your profile has 3 other tabs.

Photosynth's 'Explore' page ( ) is dedicated to helping you discover other people's photosynths and panoramas.

When you are browsing 'Most Recent' ( ), you are shown the 500 most recently submitted photosynths and panoramas on the entire site, by default.

You can, if you choose, filter down to either:
only the 500 most recently uploaded photosynths from everyone
( )
or only the 500 most recently uploaded panoramas from everyone
( )

The reason that you're not seeing your synths in the recent list is just because more than 500 synths and panos have been uploaded to the site since you uploaded yours. Again, the 'Explore' page is about everyone's uploads - not just one's own.

or in the entire existence of the site:

...your synths or panos will need to have been favorited by more people than others in those lists for the specified time period in order to be placed in those lists.

If this is important to you, then encourage your friends to favorite your synths.

As to your synths, comprised of three images each, ranking at 100% synthy, don't expect too many kudos for that. Three photos is the bare minimum to create a photosynth - not a record breaker or achievement. 100% synthy just means that all the photos managed to connect to the same group.
