We've discovered that one of our storage servers was having some problems and we're working on fixing the issue and restoring the server. The problem only affects about 12% of our synths, but what you'll notice is that the synth view page loads... but the synth images never load and the text will remaind at "loading 0%".

It might take us overnight to get this server back online. Sorry for the inconvenience.

(While we get this server with your older synths back online, it might be a good opportunity to go create some awesome new synths... You won't have any problems creating or viewing new synths)

Any update?

The team is still working on bringing this server cluster back online. A few synths created this morning were stuck at publishing - these will complete once we've finished repairs.

Thanks for your patience folks..

We've resolved the problem with our storage server, so all synths should now be available again.

A number of folks had synths stuck at the publishing phase this morning. We're currently reprocessing these, and you should see them on the site later this evening.

Thanks for the update Scott. I set one running last night and after about 16 hours it got stuck at the publishing stage. Thought I was gonna have to do it all again but thankfully I don't. I'll keep an eye out for it later.

Can the Photosynth techos or staff add some sort of icon to their replies to identify them, so we can respect and identify the reply! I think Flickr does this well!

Also, is there a way I can add images to a processed Synth that is only... 34 Photos - 53% Synthy, and so link up the 5 separate groups of images that failed to connect, or do we have to start all over again!

You'll need to resynth, however Photosynth won't need to upload the 34 photos you've already uploaded so the process should be quicker even though you'll be analysing a larger group of photos this time.

I already installed microsoft silverlight, but every time I try to do a photosynth, it brings up an installer for microsoft silverlight (Over 1 year ago)
hi franzpics, are you trying to view or create a Photosynth?
