Kontellis appears to be attempting to use Christoph Hausner's SynthExport utility ( http://synthexport.codeplex.com ) to download Photosynth point cloud and camera coordinate data.
Apparently, when the app calls the Photosynth WebService, there is a miscommunication (perhaps due to a change in the formatting of how one is to interact with the service - possibly due to the semi-recent move to Windows Azure) and the SynthExport app fails to either send or receive what it expected from Photosynth's servers.
My machine is busy installing the Windows 8 Customer Preview at the moment, but once I'm back up and running, I'll try to confirm that the problem is not local to Kontellis' computer.
