Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
I downloaded Microsoft Image Compositor to create panoramas. When I create one, I choose "publish to Photosynth", but when it reaches 100% an error appears.
"Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library
The application has requested to terminate it in an unusual way..."
After you installed ICE 1.3, does Photosynth ever crash in the same way when you try to create an actual synth or only when trying to publish panoramas from ICE?
Which version of Windows are you using?
xp? Vista? 7?
Have you installed the updated synther? Can you report the version number displayed on the synther, please?
I installed: ICE-1.3-for-32-bit-Windows. Photosynth has never crashed. Only while I try to publish panoramas from ICE.
I've updated photosynth. Version: 2.110.317.1042
Go to the folder %temp%\Photosynther and please post the contents of the latest .log file in
I'm afraid there are no logs of unsuccesfull operations. But if it could help, I can post succesfull one:

If you got to 100% in ICE, then in the %temp%\Photosynther\ICE there should be a folder corresponding to the crashed stitch. Could you post the contents of panorama.xml from the crash folder.
Looks like the XML is being interpreted as html. Is there somewhere that you can post the file itself - e.g. skydrive.

Looks like ICE doesn't like your Windows user name which contains Unicode characters.
I've changed it and I think it has nothing to do with that...
Fifi666, can you confirm that changing your Windows username also changed the actual name of the folder which contains your settings within Documents and Settings?
My experience is that while what is displayed on the Start Menu, login screens, etc. will change when you change your Windows desktop's name will correctly update, the actual folder inside of Documents and Settings does not change because multiple programs have already stored the path of the old folder name in their settings which would break if the folder name changed.
If the folder name has not updated, you could try creating a new profile|user|desktop with non-special characters and that should create a user folder in Documents and Settings with that new name, which means that when that path is referenced by ICE, the string will be free of unicode characters.
Just trying to help you get to the bottom of this...
IT WORKS!! UAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA!!!! THANK U!!
I have a proble.
When i write my adres & pw and hit "sing in" apears
-floating point not loaded
That's a very unusual error. I haven't looked at the code yet, but it's most likely to come from a mismatch with OS-level or library level support. Please tell us the OS you are running (+ the hardware) and whether you have customized it in any way which may affect floating point operations.
Thanks, David Gedye -- Photosynth.
this is the first time i am here in photosynth but whenever i make a video and i try to edit it when i go to the page (URL) its all blank, i have to make my project and its important
i have to finish it tommoraw
Muziking, could you post the URL(s) to some of your panos or synths?
:: IF you've uploaded a panorama or an original photosynth using the Photosynth desktop application:
the viewer and editor is a Silverlight web app and you'll need Silverlight installed to use the editor. http://microsoft.com/getsilverlight
:: There is an HTML5/CSS3 panorama viewer which allows you to view panoramas from ICE, Photoshop, or the Photosynth mobile app if you don't have Silverlight installed, but it has never recieved all of the features or performance of the Silverlight viewer and it does not have any of the editor functionality.
:: If you're using the Photosynth 2 Tech Preview http://photosynth.net/preview then you'll need a modern web browser with WebGL graphics support (as well as a computer with a modern graphics processor) to use the viewer instead of the video preview. The editor on new synths should all be HTML5, though.
