Discussion about the now-retired Photosynth Apps for Windows Phone and iOS.
I would love use Photosynth on my Nokia Lumia 920 but the app does not show up in the store and when I click on the link from this site the store tells me that the app is not available on my device. Is this supposed to be happening? Am I the only one? If it is supposed to be happening when can we expect an update?
The Windows Phone 8 version of Photosynth's mobile panorama app is nearing completion. This tweet is the most recent mention of that, I believe: http://twitter.com/photosynth/status/264137964353880065

Other previous glimpses and mentions of the WP8 version of Photosynth's mobile pano app linked to in the comments of this weblog entry: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/photosynth/archive/2012/10/26/bing-s-pano-bling.aspx#10365082
Dear Microsoft, if you want us to support Windows Phone 8, then YOU have to support Windows Phone 8. It's a good job you've got Nokia making good apps.
agreed decoda...many people decide on an operating system because of the apps available...and apps like Photosynth are a big reason why people think 'oh sure, it's safe to switch to windows phone'...but then BAM...their latest operating system doesn't have it. At least it's coming out soon...but for early adopters like me, it's a kick in the pants.
