Discussion about the now-retired Photosynth Apps for Windows Phone and iOS.
can we change the panorama from private to public?
when we upload the item, there's tag option. how to make the photo public after its been uploaded?
When you are uploading a mobile panorama, you should see an option to make it public on Photosynth.net and Bing Maps.
If you uncheck this to make it unlisted (invisible on your profile to anyone but you and not searchable), you can still send the link to people by loading the pano from Photosynth.net from your library in the mobile app and using the 'Share' option to get the link or by using your web browser to visit your Photosynth profile page while signed into your account and copying the link from there.
If you want to make a public copy from the phone, you could upload a second copy, making sure to make this one public, and later delete the private online copy.
Otherwise, you'll just have to use a laptop or desktop to sign into your account so that you can use the editor on the website (still a Silverlight app at this point) to switch your pano from unlisted to public.
