IS there a way to add the rotate controls to the embeded image.
I've created a 360 here and embedded in my google site which works really well, but my mum (72) did't realise it rotated until I physically showed her because the controls are only zoom in/out and enlarge!
Is there a way to add a piece of html to the embed code to include the rotate controls?
Here's the page I'm blethering on about

Hi, hamberie,

As far as I know, there's no way to stop the viewer controls from simplifying themselves when embedded. I can't recall exactly when this started to be the case, but you should definitely add this as a feature request in the Suggestions forum as I'm sure that others feel as you do.

By the way, hamberie,

Do you already know about the embed code's two switches?

The first, "delayLoad", changes whether or not the user will need to click the panorama or photosynth once before it starts loading. The default value is to "true", but can be changed to "false" for auto loading along with the rest of the page.

The second, "slideshowPlaying", changes whether the panorama or photosynth will begin its animation automatically or wait for the user to manually click the [Play] button (sadly, one of the controls that is stripped out of embedded viewers). The default is set to "false", but can be set to "true" so that upon loading, the panorama or photosynth begins its default animation.

In the case of a photosynth, this will mean moving through the photos in spatial order (or alphanumeric order if you've edited things).

In a panorama's case, any panorama over 180 degrees will pan back and forth by default or a full continuous circle if you have 360 degrees horizontally. If four or more highlights have been added to a panorama, you will get a zooming swooping tour of the panorama with the [Play] functionality.

In any case, if you at least set slideshowPlaying to true in your embed code, then whoever loads your embeds should immediately see that it is not merely a flat picture. There is still the challenge of them realizing that they can take control and explore on their own, though, and unfortunately if they wish to restart the slideshow animation, they would need to know the secret of clicking within the viewer and then tapping the [1] key on their keyboard (less than intuitive, to say the least).

Deep apologies for not replying sooner. I have had loads on and though the photosynth panorama wasn't perfect, it was ok for the time being. Having said that and read your email I am going to have a go at changing it now.

Many thanks for taking the time and I apologise deeply for not replying sooner. If you ever want to visit this area of France we'd love to offer you a discounted price.
