In the video of how to synth, we are told to upload as many photos as possible. This is my first try! Does one have to select one photo at a time as it would take ages since I have over 200 photos?? Any help would be appreciated.

marcette, the synther opens a standard file selection dialog. You can easily select multiple files at once by dragging a box around them, or if you want to synth every photo in a folder simply press CTRL-A to select everything. Hope this helps.

Can you add photos to an existing synth? It seems it only took 40% of what I downloaded.

@RRRussell - I took a look at your synth, and all 42 photos are in it, however, the synther was unable to fit them all together. The 40% synthy stat you see is a reflection of this. The best way to see what Im talking about is to go to your synth and change the view to 2D mode (click the mode selection button in the viewer and pick 2D or press the ~ key on your keyboard to do this). See how the photos are grouped together in different clumps? Well each clump consists of the images Photosynth was able to match together (except for the last which is made up of images that didnt match anything else). Your photo coverage actually looks pretty good to me, but Photosynth doesnt work well on glossy, featureless surfaces like that of the bell tower. Just bad luck that you chose something like this for your first try synthing. Go find a bell tower of rough hewn granite and it will do much better :) Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions. Tony
