You need to be fairly careful about what photos you put into it to get a decent (or in some cases any) result. I will see if I can get the author of that tool to chime in to this discussion.
Thanks David ... I've tried the Ice tool, to no avail. But perhaps I haven't yet found the proper procedure. I've failed to produce a linear image, or find a tutorial on how to use the structured pano feature. I'll keep trying, though.
Re generating a flat single image: The ICE tool ( http://photosynth.net/ice.aspx
) supports planar panos as well as the spherical ones uploaded to our site. Give it a shot.
Thanks for that feedback... I'll give that a try. At the time I shot these, I didn't know about Photosynth, so I wasn't shooting for maximum effect. I'll go back and plan ahead for better success. Is there any way to convert this into a TIFF or JPEG file? I appreciate your interest.
The reason this one isn't quite as smooth as your first is that we're trying to show all your photos -- there's actually too many of them for some a simple path -- and the jitter between them is coming out in the playback. Would recommend picking approx. 20. But beautiful, beautiful shots!
