Amazing. Turned out really well considering it was shot without photosynth in mind. (What was the trek? I'd love to do something like this some day)

10X! it's the Everest base camp trek from Lukla, Nepal. it's overwhelmingly beautiful, and surprisingly cheap!

wwhhhoooaaa...I can feel altitude sickness coming on. One complaint though, I’ve zoomed all over and can’t find the Yeti :)

Thanks for posting this, it’s absolutely wonderful.

how high were you when you took these photos?

Is it about a two week trek? I have a strong calling to this part of the world. (P.S. Any Yeti synths will be featured on the homepage ;) )

kala patar 5550m.
it takes about 2 weeks with stops for acclimatizing. you can do a whole circuit and see gokyo lakes as well in about 16 days.

wow. when we integrate panorama viewing this will look even better.

looking forward to that Jonathan - anything cylindrical VR(ish) will be fine, especially with deep zoom :-)
