Description

The Virginia War Memorial and Museum is located on an overlook of the James River at the R.E. Lee Bridge. The War Memorial contains the names of all Virginians who perished in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Persian Gulf I. There is also a military museum attached. The memorial was dedicated in 1956. The museum was opened in September 2010.
