Description

St Davids Cathedral, built on the site of the extreme aesthetic community founded by the patron saint of Wales. The National Shrine dominates the head of the secluded Vallis Rosina. In the background to the left of the opening view is the Bishop's Palace, the work of Bishop Thomas Bek, between 1280 and 1293, and, most significantly, Bishop Henry de Gower, between 1328 and 1347.
